The Grade 7 “Textes et Expression” textbook is part of the “Le Français au Collège” collection.
“Le Français au Collège” constitutes the natural extension of the “Arc-en-ciel” books from previous grades. It therefore builds on, deepens, and expands the methodological principles that have proven effective in primary school.
The “Le Français au Collège” method for Grade 7 provides the following:
- Diverse, illustrated reading texts adapted to students’ psychological and linguistic development. They aim to develop analytical skills and introduce students to expression techniques and figures of speech.
- Images that facilitate comprehension and encourage oral expression.

The Grade 7 “Textes et Expression” Textbook
This textbook develops 9 themes in 20 units. Every unit provides the following activities:
- A text to analyze with questions.
- Two sections: one for expression techniques, and one for grammar.
- An informative text with questions.
- An oral expression page.
- A written expression lesson.
- In some units, a lesson on lexical concepts.
- Documents to promote cultural awareness.
