The Ladder Junior textbook is the third book in the Ladder collection. This collection is a comprehensive method for learning English as a foreign language (EFL) and is therefore intended for students whose first language is not English.
With its numerous illustrations, this book serves as an introduction to learning English. It is designed for children who already know how to read in French or who are in the process of learning to read in French.
The Ladder Junior textbook includes:
- fifteen thematic lessons, each focusing on a specific language structure. All lessons follow the same framework:
- A presentation of the objectives, carried out in two stages: first in the form of a comic strip, then through follow-up activities using small illustrations;
- A section encouraging children to reuse orally the structures and vocabulary already presented;
- Written exercises related to the objectives of the lesson;
- seven pages of additional vocabulary;
- six pages of songs and rhymes;
- ten pages of revision exercises;
- two fun activities.
Finally, the child has access to a QR code integrated into the book, allowing them to listen to recordings of the songs and rhymes.
