The Ladder abc textbook is the first book in the Ladder collection. This collection is a comprehensive method for learning English as a foreign language (EFL) and is therefore intended for students whose first language is not English. The Ladder abc book is designed for kindergarten children and serves as a first introduction to learning English.
In this book, the letters of the alphabet are presented. For each letter, you will find:
- 5 or 6 illustrations representing words or sentences that begin with that letter of the alphabet. Sometimes, these words include the letter in the middle of the word. Some words or situations provide an opportunity to carry out oral expression activities, while others can be reused in the form of games.
- Two lines introducing the writing of each letter. The letter formation presented here follows Anglo-Saxon usage and includes both lowercase and uppercase letters.
This EFL textbook also includes:
- Exercise pages that allow for a quick review of acquired knowledge.
- Pages of songs and rhymes, some of which are accompanied by gestures.
Finally, the children have access to a QR code integrated into the book, allowing them to listen to the songs and rhymes.
