This Grade 7 activities workbook is part of the “Le Français au Collège” collection.
“Le Français au Collège” constitutes the natural extension of the “Arc-en-ciel” books from previous grades. It therefore builds on, deepens, and expands the methodological principles that have proven effective in primary school.
The “Le Français au Collège” method for Grade 7 provides the following:
- Diverse, illustrated reading texts adapted to students’ psychological and linguistic development. They aim to develop analytical skills and introduce students to expression techniques and figures of speech.

The Activities Workbook
This Grade 7 activities workbook extends the “Textes et Expression” textbook. Every unit provides exercises revolving around:
- Written comprehension of a given text.
- Oral comprehension of a listening text.
- Vocabulary enrichment.
- Writing: composition of sentences, paragraphs, and various types of texts (narrative, descriptive, informative, argumentative, etc.).
- Assessment and evaluation.
