This KG3 writing copybook is part of the “La Boîte aux Lettres” collection.
“La Boîte aux Lettres” for KG3 is based on the syllabic reading method, which allows for an easy and logical progression, from the simplest to the more complex. Children first learn to read individual letters, then syllables, words, sentences, and a full text.
The method applied in this KG3 reading textbook develops our KG1 and KG2 methods. The spirit, content, and pedagogical practices are thus reframed and extended. Our teaching methods emphasize oral expression. The latter is indeed the basis for learning to read and write.
The “La Boîte aux Lettres” collection for KG3 is based on the following methodological principles:

- An abundance of illustrations: attractive and colorful images strengthen comprehension and encourage oral expression.
- Children’s active participation: interactive activities stimulate children’s interest and engagement.

The “La Boîte aux Lettres” collection for KG3 is a comprehensive method for learning French. It comprises the following three components: a reading textbook, an exercise workbook, and a writing copybook. This collection also includes 10 storybooks.
Writing Copybook
The writing copybook from the “La Boîte aux Lettres” collection provides effective and structured learning of cursive letters, as well as practice exercises. Children can learn and practice the basics of writing letters and syllables, preparing them to later write longer texts. Through this copybook, children are guided to transition from oral to written expression in a simple and methodical way. This copybook complements the KG3 reading textbook.
