The “Français Plus abc” textbook is the first book in the “Français Plus” collection. This collection provides a comprehensive method for learning French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and is intended for students whose first language is not French.
Designed for preschool children, this book introduces young learners to the French language through simple and engaging activities that build early vocabulary and oral expression skills.
Français Plus abc
The abc book introduces children to the letters of the alphabet. For each letter, the book presents:
- Five or six illustrations representing words or short sentences beginning with that letter. In some cases, the letter also appears within the word.
- Vocabulary and situations that encourage oral expression activities.
- Words that teachers and students can reuse in playful learning games.
- Two writing lines that introduce the formation of each letter. The handwriting model follows Anglo-Saxon conventions and includes only lowercase letters.
This French as a Foreign Language textbook also includes:
- Exercise pages that allow students to review and reinforce the notions they have learned.
- Pages of songs and nursery rhymes, some accompanied by gestures to support memorization and oral practice.
