French as a Foreign Language – Français Plus 4 Workbook
Method Presentation
The “Français Plus 4” textbook, together with its workbook, is the seventh book in the “Français Plus” collection. It follows the previous levels and aims to prepare students for the DELF Junior A1 and A2 examinations.
The “Français Plus” collection is a comprehensive method for learning French as a foreign language. It is designed for students whose first language is not French. “Français Plus 4” offers an active and engaging approach to learning both spoken and written French.
The book was developed in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR, 2000). It provides a progressive learning program that covers the four core language skills: listening comprehension, speaking, reading comprehension, and writing. It also develops students’ understanding of language structure, general knowledge, and elements of culture and civilization. The objective is to help students communicate effectively both orally and in writing while preparing them for the DELF Junior A1 and A2 exams.
The “Français Plus 4” method follows a gradual learning approach and is designed for 60 to 80 hours of instruction, based on 2 to 3 hours per week. The method includes two components: a student’s book and a workbook.
